XimpleHR is looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join Digital Media Leader, an innovative company that connects global brands with millions of fans across Latin America and the United States. The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating and maintaining dynamic websites, developing custom solutions, and ensuring top performance and user experience.
Develop PHP-based custom code following best industry practices and coding standards.
Extend and create custom solutions, themes, and plugins within the WordPress ecosystem.
Implement scalable, robust functionalities for WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Integrate third-party and internal APIs into WordPress environments.
Maintain and optimize existing web products, ensuring high availability and exceptional user experience.
Collaborate in code reviews, testing, debugging, documentation, and quality assurance.
Analyze existing systems for performance improvements, troubleshooting, and enhancements aligned with business objectives.
Participate actively in all stages of the development lifecycle, including project planning and execution.
Proven software development experience with PHP and WordPress.
Proficient in front-end technologies: CSS/SASS, JavaScript/ES6, AJAX, HTML5.
Basic knowledge of ReactJS.
Experience working with MySQL databases.
Knowledge of APIs, Authentication methods, and third-party integrations.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, translating business goals into effective user experiences.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML formats.
Proficiency with version control tools such as Git or BitBucket.
Advanced troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
Good understanding of industry trends and modern content management systems.
English fluency is mandatory, as the role involves multicultural, globally distributed teams.
Experience with Gutenberg blocks development.
Knowledge of unit testing methodologies.
Familiarity with GraphQL.
Experience configuring web servers (Nginx/Apache).
