Senior Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Intelligence Developer to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering cutting-edge BI solutions. You will collaborate closely with a talented team of data analysts, data scientists, data modelers, and data engineers to develop innovative solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst, demonstrating a strong track record of success.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, report development, and dashboard design.
• Advanced SQL skills with proven experience in writing complex queries, optimizing performance,and managing relational databases.
• Experience in managing Power BI dataflows and implementing efficient development pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Additional preferred skills:

• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik Sense.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies, including dimensional modeling and ETL processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, particularly in the context of data warehousing and BI solutions.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with actionable insights.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and views to construct robust semantic models, ensuring efficient data access and analysis.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis using SQL and other tools to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and support strategic business decisions.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to thoroughly understand their business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable data solutions.
• Champion data integrity and security by implementing and maintaining rigorous standards across all data sources and reports.
• Translate and document business needs into clear and concise development requirements, facilitating seamless project execution.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering their professional growth by sharing your expertise in best practices and advanced analytical techniques.
