Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

XimpleHR is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of products for one of its clients. This role will be pivotal in designing and implementing automated tests, maintaining the existing test suite, and collaborating with multiple teams to deliver high-quality software. The Senior QA Engineer will also mentor team members and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end automated tests for new features.
• Maintain, automate, and enhance the existing test suite across projects.
• Review and provide feedback on colleagues' work.
• Continuously improve team processes, contribute ideas, and communicate status and progress.
• Mentor team members and offer constructive feedback.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Work closely with the product team, stakeholders, and users from the planning phase to delivery, ensuring a comprehensive approach to new features.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Actively participate in meetings, including scrum meetings.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a gaming environment or similar, with a strong focus on software or firmware testing and evaluation methodologies.
• 50% Manual Testing, 50% Automation Testing.
• Strong experience with API Testing (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript.
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
