System Network Administrator

We are looking for a System Network Administrator. Reporting to the Executive Officer based in New York, the successful candidate will be responsible for aiding the IT Infrastructure of companies based in the United States. The ideal candidate will be installing, configuring and maintaining network devices like firewalls, switches, access points and servers.

Requirements:

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
•  5+ years’ experience
•  Very strong networking competencies
•  Very good knowledge of Fortinet and Meraki firewalls
•  Very good knowledge of Aruba and Meraki switches
•  Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
•  Good knowledge of Microsoft365
•  Excellent written and communication skills in English; 
•  Strong interpersonal skills.
•  Ability to work during weekends and non-working hours, if necessary.
•  Be able to work in an autonomous way.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor all infrastructure and system installations, including configurations, testing, and maintenance
• Install and configure network infrastructures, and clearly document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks to leverage IT support staff
• Conduct high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption and establish preventive measures
• Work together with technicians on the field in US and Europe.
• Identify potential issues and integrate workable solutions.

Location: Remote - Working hours from 9AM-6PM EST (US East Coast) with daytime saving.

Time shift: Full time
