Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

XimpleHR is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join Perform’s dedicated team, which specializes in high-traffic web applications and complex backend systems. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in test automation and infrastructure, with a focus on delivering exceptional quality and reliability through the creation and execution of automated tests.

Requirements

• Leverages prior experience as an SDET, Software Tools Engineer, or in a similar role with a strong focus on quality.

• Applies at least 2+ years of C# development expertise in a professional setting.

• Collaborates effectively with senior developers on technical topics, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

• Maintains a high standard of quality and sustainable software development practices.

• Utilizes additional programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) when beneficial.

• Implements and manages Playwright UI Automation to ensure seamless user interface testing.

• Works with AWS and GCP to support scalable, secure test environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, creates, and maintains productivity tools, such as automation frameworks, tools, and services, to enhance test coverage and reduce execution costs.

• Analyzes test and development workflows, collaborating across teams to maximize the benefits of both new and existing technologies.

• Completes software development tasks aimed at delivering technical solutions (automated frameworks, tests, API hooks, and related tools).

• Implements metrics and analyzes test data/results to identify patterns, report on risk statuses, and proactively influence software quality.
